Most of the classroom training and studying can be done online through available study materials and videos. However, the actual driving and testing is currently being done in Salt Lake City, Utah. Actual classes are also available for those that would rather learn in the classroom.

You can access the free links to study and practice for your learner’s permit for Utah. It has the basic fundamentals for all of the states. Other state manuals can be found online as well.

After registering and obtaining your login credentials, you will have access to manuals, study materials, video classroom instruction, pictures, diagrams and videos. Then when you are ready, you can come to Salt Lake City, Utah for your practice drives, backing training and testing.

There are three options of training you can choose from. You can get :

• Full Course, which has all of the training, testing and a certificate upon completion.
• Fast Track which has no classroom training, includes a test and a certificate upon completion.
• Hourly, for those who need minimal training.

Any driver with a learner’s permit from any state may train and test in Utah with that permit. You no longer are required to get a 60 day learner’s permit to test in Utah if you are from another state.
